Re: The 'Stand Up For Respect' assembly on December 2, 2005

Students in grades 4-8 at St. Simon Stock School recently had the opportunity to listen to, observe and participate in Bruce Langford's "Stand Up For Respect" workshop. The two unique divisional presentations sent powerful messages to all students regarding the importance of being respectful and by providing concrete ways the "bystander" can use to help eliminate bullying behaviour. Bruce's ability to keep students focused, participating and interested resulted from his effective delivery of information using a balance of role-play, videos and music. I would highly recommend Bruce's programs.
